    Walmart to Offer Free-Return Service- “Carrier Pickup” Via FedEx

    Washington D.C (GNB)- Walmart announced Monday that it will pick up items shipped and sold by Walmart.com from customers’ homes through FedEx, a new partnership. Walmart’s official blog post said the “incredibly convenient” option is free and will remain in place beyond the busy holiday shopping season.

    To use the new service, called “Carrier Pickup by FedEx, customers should follow four steps:

    1.  Customers have the initiate return process on Walmart.com or Walmart app,
    2. Select the items to be return
    3. Schedule a date for pickup
    4. Print a label. Then it will be picked up by a FedEx employee.

    Carrier Pickup is available to all customers where FedEx provides small parcel pickup service.

    Households without a printer can get a QR code on their phones and return the item to any FedEx Office locations.
