    The United States has announced 820 million in new military aid to Ukraine. According to the Pentagon, the new military assistance includes ground-to-air missile systems and other weapons, including radar.

    Included in this package are:

    • Two National Advanced Surface-to-Air Missile Systems (NASAMS);
    • Up to 150,000 rounds of 155mm artillery ammunition; and
    • Four additional counter-artillery radars.

    Russia has fired dozens of rockets at Ukraine in recent days, disrupting civilian life and launching artillery attacks on Ukrainian troops for hours.

    The United States has announced new military assistance in response to a public call by Ukrainian leaders, fearful of continued Russian military aggression, to immediately provide more ammunition and modern weapons to allies in the West.

    The United States has pledged more than अर्ब 8.8 billion in military assistance to Ukraine for weapons and military training. Ukraine has sought more help from Western countries, including the United States, to defeat Russian forces. They have already announced about अर्ब 7 billion in aid since the Russian invasion. Most of the aid formally announced on Friday will take weeks or months to reach Ukraine.
