Two men arrested after cutting fence at Dominion Energy property in Virginia

Police have arrested two men in connection with a burglary in Aldie at an electrical storage yard on Dominion Energy property, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO)  said.

At about 12:30 am, The Loudoun County Sherriff’s Office responded to the 26000 block of Auburn Farm Road for a report of two men cutting a fence on an area of Dominion Energy property leased to another entity. 

When Officers arrived, they were able to quickly locate and arrest the two men who had breached the storage yard. Police say they recovered a bag with wire cutters at the location

According to the police, Christopher J. Macmillan, 51, and Joshua L. Settle, 38, both from Manassas, were charged with Possession of Burglary Tools, Attempted Larceny, Trespassing, Destruction of Property, and Conspiracy to Commit Larceny.  

Both were transported to the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center, the police said.

Macmillan is being held without bond and Settles was given a $7,500 secured bond, the police said in a statement.
