Ivana Trump, the first wife of former President Donald Trump, died at the age of 73 on Thursday, the former president confirmed.
In a statement posted to Truth Social, former President Donald Trump said that the mother of his three eldest children, Ivana, “passed away at her home in New York City.” He added, “She was a wonderful, beautiful, and amazing woman, who led a great and inspirational life.”
“Her pride and joy were her three children, Donald Jr., Ivanka and Eric. She was so proud of them, as we were all so proud of her. Rest In Peace, Ivana!”, he added.
Donald Trump tied the knot with Ivana in 1977 and divorced in 1992. Together, they have three children: Donald Jr., Ivanka and Eric.
in a post on Instagram, Ivana’s son Eric Trump wrote:
“Our mother was an incredible woman — a force in business, a world-class athlete, a radiant beauty, and caring mother and friend,” Eric Trump wrote. “She fled from communism and embraced this country. She taught her children about grit and toughness, compassion and determination.”
Daughter Ivanka Trump wrote: “Heartbroken by the passing of my mother. Mom was brilliant, charming, passionate and wickedly funny. She modeled strength, tenacity and determination in her every action. She lived life to the fullest — never forgoing an opportunity to laugh and dance.”
“I will miss her forever and will keep her memory alive in our hearts always.”
According to the report, police found Ivana Trump unresponsive at the scene and Emergency Medical Services pronounced her dead. There were no signs of foul play and the city’s medical examiner will determine a cause of death.
“On Thursday, July 14, 2022, at approximately 1240 hours, police responded to a 911 call of an aided individual at 10 East 64 Street , within the confines of the 19 Precinct. Upon arrival, officers observed a 73-year-old female unconscious and unresponsive. EMS responded to the location and pronounced the victim deceased at the scene,” the New York Police said.
