    Triangular T-20 series: Nepal beat Netherlands in the final

    Nepal defeated the Netherlands by six wickets in today’s match of the triangular T-20 series in the capital, Kathmandu.

    Chasing a modest target of 121 runs for victory, Nepal reached it by losing four wickets in 15.2 overs. Captain Rohit Kumar Paudel contributed the most with 46 runs in Nepal’s victory. He scored 46 runs in 34 balls, hitting three fours and one six. Similarly, Gulsan Jha scored 38 runs, Kushal Bhurtel scored 12 runs and Asif Sekh scored 8 runs.

    Vivian Kingma took three wickets while Aryan Dutt took one wicket for the Netherlands.

    Earlier, the Netherlands won the toss and decided to bat first at the TU International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, but were bowled out for 120 in 19.3 overs.

    For the Netherlands, Max O’Dowd was the top scorer with 31 runs off 24 balls, including four fours and a six. Similarly, Tim van der Gugten added 24 runs, Rolof van der Merwe scored an unbeaten 23 and captain Scott Edwards scored 18 runs.

    For Nepal, Pratish GC took three wickets while Karan KC and Kushal Malla took two wickets each. Similarly, Dipendra Singh Airi took one wicket.

    With this win, Nepal’s chances of reaching the final have become strong with four points in four matches. Similarly, the Netherlands, who suffered their first defeat, have four points from three games.

    Nepal lost their first match against Namibia by 20 runs and their second match against the Netherlands by two runs. Similarly, in their third match, Nepal defeated Namibia by three runs. Tomorrow, there will be a match between the Netherlands and Namibia.
