Everyone has a passion!
They say everything in life happens for a reason and while I didn’t hold much faith in that phrase before, I definitely do now. It took a serious life-threatening experience to ignite in me a passion for my own photography as part of the healing process.
I know in my heart that I have always loved photography, but the way I stumbled into becoming a photographer is anything but a fairy tale — in fact, it’s quite the opposite. I’ve always enjoyed looking at photographic images throughout my journey.
It can be a sport or other engrossing activity. First, my passion is photography because I like choosing different cameras to take pictures. However, I normally purchase the camera from Costco and compared the prices of the camera in a different store.
Thus, I got into photography because my friend Hyeyoung introduced me to photography and showed me what she did while taking the class and I got inspired by her, therefore I wanted to take the class. Also, many professional photographers use a variety of techniques while taking pictures and explore the depth of the photography by using different levels of techniques that they developed. For example, most photographers experiment using flash, tripod, lighting, studio lighting, flickering lights, strobe lights to take pictures.
The famous person I was inspired by Ansel Adams, when I learned the history of him. He influenced many people for straight photography which includes abstract photography with a 3D dimension. He was a famous photographer for the black and white landscapes of the American West, especially Yosemite National Park. He primarily used large formats cameras because the large film used with these cameras (primarily 5×4 and 8×10) contributed to the clarity of his prints.
I enjoy photography because it has allowed me to capture moments and it caused me to fall in love with the light and see the world around me with fresh eyes every single day.
My friend showed me developing a picture in the darkroom and she explained the darkroom process with chemical procedures to go through after done printing the negatives pictures from the in larger.
I got inspired by my teacher because she explained what type of photographer he was, and I searched his photographers more depth online was shocked to me how he took pictures as serious photographers. He took straight photography of the national park and black- white landscapes also, was famous for taking abstract 3D dimension photography. Yes, I have seen his pictures while studying history and nature which includes close-ups for the pictures.
Ansel Adam’s photographs were famous because he was an American photographer and environmentalist which his pictures became very popular and also, known as a springer photographer. Adam’s significant photograph was Yosemite National Park and many of his most famous images from clearing winter storm, Yosemite National Park, California (1944).
I started taking pictures from last year because when I was in 10th grade during my sophomore year. The pictures I have taken so far are Portraits, Landscapes, natures and negative film prints, Pre weddings.
I showed my art to my photography teacher she told me my pictures are strong, good content.
My photography was featured in Good Morning Robinson and Robinson Art show, Robinson Carousel Magazine. I showed them my artwork they were pleased how strong my pictures were and gave me some huge opportunities to feature them.
Most of my teachers gave me positive feedback of my artwork is amazing and just keep working hard towards my goal eventually I will reach there.
As a photographer, I have developed so much my interest and skills that always thrive in photography whether it is how to hold cameras or new adventure experiments with different types of cameras.
I want to learn more about studio photography how to work with lighting while taking portraits pictures and learn how to develop a portfolio. The skills that I would like to learn in the feature are critical thinking, teamwork, communication, self-motivation, visionary Qualities, and creativity with positive attitudes.
My skills I want to also have self-confidence and collaboration with the artist to the artist would be something to have experimental skills. Also, I want to have professional skills to use different types of techniques while in the studios.
As a photographer, the skills I would like to learn about exposures more because a camera plays a huge part in the role while taking pictures to play with aperture and the setting of the camera, which includes having a good composition with a different type of angles viewpoints.
I would love to develop my strong portfolio and show them to my family friends, relatives. In summary, I decided to talk about photography because it’s my passion that I love to do with my camera and take amazing pictures.
I want to become a professional photographer because having great opportunities to explore different career fields of photography. My experience was amazing I have achieved my goals, working towards developing more professional artwork coming college year.
I take photography as my serious the things that I see love to capture the beauty of places and moments. Having a great experience in the community was also one of my biggest interests, taking pictures for them, and learning my mistakes to know what I’m doing wrong. The reason I chose photography impacted me because I started taking classes at Robinson made me want to go deeper to explore with creativity and learn new things that I have never experienced in my life.
I honestly, didn’t know how to take pictures because if I didn’t take classes I would never learn anything that something is always important for any life-time events.
In summary, while taking classes is the best opportunity to have and show great skills to the teachers, professors and ask them positive feedback. I always enjoy capturing beautiful pictures with my camera. I want to continue to thrive in my artwork more developing coming college year with adventure skills. My advice is if anyone is interested in taking photography classes go for it because it’s a huge opportunity to share the skills that you have.
