    Taliban open fire to disperse protesters chanting anti-Pakistan slogans in Kabul

    Hundreds of Afghans protested in front of Pakistan’s embassy in Kabul on Tuesday chanted anti-Pakistan slogans.

    A group of Afghan women started gathering in front of Pakistan’s embassy on Thursday and then men protesters joined them in the rally with anti-Pakistan slogans.

    A video posted on social media shows hundreds of Kabul residents took the street and chanted a slogan on the sign “Pakistan, Pakistan, Leave Afghanistan”.

    The protesters were also chanting: “Freedom, Freedom.”

    Reports said the Taliban forces prevented some journalists from filming the protest.

    They detained TOLOnews cameraperson Wahid Ahmadi and confiscated his camera, TOLnews reported.

    Waheed Ahmadiwas released by the Taliban after a three-hour detention. The Taliban returned the photos to Mr. Ahmadi with a camera, Tolonews reported.

    Reports said the Taliban fired shots into the air to disperse the protests in the capital.
