The suspected shooter who injured four people in northwest Washington, DC, is dead, DC Metropolitan Police Department Chief Robert Contee said.
The gunmen “took his own life” in a fifth-floor apartment located in the area of Connecticut Avenue and Van Ness St., NW, D.C. Police Chief Robert Contee said during a press conference Friday evening.
Police are not looking for another suspect, Contee said.
Police recovered multiple firearms and a large quantity of ammo inside the fifth-floor apartment where the suspect was found deceased.
23-year-old Raymond Spencer of Fairfax, Virginia is the deceased suspected shooter, DC Police confirmed.

MPD is seeking the below person of interest in connection to the shooting in the 2900 block of Van Ness Street, NW. This individual is 23 year-old Raymond Spencer of Fairfax, Virginia.
