The suspected shooter who injured four people in northwest Washington, DC, is dead, DC Metropolitan Police Department Chief Robert Contee said.
The gunmen “took his own life” in a fifth-floor apartment located in the area of Connecticut Avenue and Van Ness St., NW, D.C. Police Chief Robert Contee said during a press conference Friday evening.
Police are not looking for another suspect, Contee said.
Police recovered multiple firearms and a large quantity of ammo inside the fifth-floor apartment where the suspect was found deceased.
23-year-old Raymond Spencer of Fairfax, Virginia is the deceased suspected shooter, DC Police confirmed.
