Russian Forces Thwart Drone Attack on Druzhba Oil Pipeline Station

According to Reuters, Russian air defense units successfully repelled a drone attack on the Druzhba oil pipeline station near the Ukraine border.

The attack was carried out by Ukrainian forces targeting a pumping station in the Bryansk region, as stated by Alexander Bogomaz, the governor of the area.

Recently, there has been an increase in Ukrainian drone attacks inside Russia, with three drones being destroyed during this particular attack.

The Druzhba pipeline is a crucial global pipeline, delivering Russian oil to several Eastern and Central European countries. Its southern branch passes through Ukraine, supplying crude oil to Hungary, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic.
