    Russia launches massive missiles at Ukrainian cities

    According to Ukrainian government and media sources, Russia has fired missiles at Ukrainian cities including the capital Kiev, the Black Sea port of Odesa and the northeastern city of Kharkiv.

    Ukraine’s commander in chief Valery Zaluzhny said in a statement that 81 missiles had been fired by Russia, 34 of which were shot down.

    Rocket hits sent air raid sirens blaring over Ukraine early Thursday morning. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported explosions in the Holosiivskyi district in the southern part of the city.
