Regions across Ukraine are under air raid alerts Saturday.

Air raid alerts sound for the first time all over Ukraine on Saturday, according to an online map tracking the alerts.

Eighteen civilians have been reported injured in Russia’s missile strike on an apartment block in the city of Dnipro, including two children, Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Head Valentyn Reznichenko said on Telegram.

The 9-story apartment block was hit by a Russian missile. Floors from 2 to 9 were destroyed in one of its entrances, local media reported.

The fire broke out within an area of 70 square meters. Additionally, 15 cars parked nearby caught fire.

Those injured and killed may be trapped under the rubble, the Ukrainian news agency reported.

On Saturday, energy facilities were damaged as a result of the missile attack on Ukraine. Russian forces hit Kharkiv, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zaporizhzhia, Vinnytsia and Kyiv oblasts.

Herman Halushchenko, the Minister of Energy of Ukraine wrote on Facebook: “The enemy has again attacked the country’s generation facilities and electrical systems today. There are strikes in Kharkiv, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Zaporizhzhia, Vinnytsia and Kyiv oblasts. Emergency power outages are introduced in most regions due to attacks. The next few days will be difficult. Power engineers are already working to restore electricity supply.”

The world must stop Russian terrorists, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said.

“Eternal memory to all whose lives were taken by Russia’s terror! The world must stop evil. Debris clearance in Dnipro continues. All services are working. We’re fighting for every person, every life,” Zelensky wrote on Telegram.

Zelensky also stressed that everyone involved in terror will be brought to account.

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba has called on the G7 countries and the European Union to introduce tough sanctions against Russia in order to “kill” its ability to produce missiles.
