Washington D.C. (GNB): Trump supporters are planning a rally on Jan. 6, the same day Congress is set to officially approve the 2020 election results, according to a flyer on the Trump March website.

On Friday, New Year’s Day, Trump tweeted that the “the BIG Protest Rally” in Washington will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 6. “Locational details to follow,” Trump said.

“Democrats are scheming to disenfranchise and nullify Republican votes. It’s up to the American people to stop it. Along with President Trump, we will do whatever it takes to ensure the integrity of this election for the good of the nation”, according to a flyer on the Trump March website.

Trump promoted the protest on his Twitter page by sharing a promo video.

The conservative woman group, Women for America First, originally requested a protest permit for Jan. 22-23 but amended the dates for the rally on Jan. 6, according to various sources.

The U.S. Park Service has not yet approved the organization’s request to hold the protest.

The Trump March website said they will be releasing additional information on the upcoming march soon.
