The Powerball jackpot for Monday’s drawing has climbed to an estimated $670 million with a cash value of $474.8 million, lottery officials said.

There was no winning ticket in the Powerball drawn Saturday.

On Saturday, the numbers drawn were 28-38-42-47-52 and the Powerball was 1 with a pot of $635 million.

In Saturday’s drawing, there was one ticket for the $1 million prize of the five white balls with the Powerball not picked. There were 66 winners picking four of five and the Powerball for $50,000.

The overall odds of winning a prize with a $2 ticket are 1 in 24.9. The odds of winning the jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million.

The jackpot ranks as the 8th largest in U.S. lottery history and the 6th largest for the Powerball game, lottery officials said.

The next drawing is 10:59 p.m. Monday. The Monday drawing was added on Aug. 23, joining the Wednesday and Saturday dates.

The Powerball jackpot was last hit in the June 5, 2021 drawing when a ticket worth $285.6 million was sold in Florida. Since then, there have been 40 drawings in a row without a Grand Prize winner – a new game record for the number of consecutive drawings without a jackpot win.

Powerball tickets are $2 per play. Tickets are sold in 45 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. More than half of all proceeds from the sale of a Powerball ticket remain in the jurisdiction where the ticket was sold. Powerball drawings are broadcast live every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. ET from the Florida Lottery draw studio in Tallahassee. Powerball and Double Play drawings are also live streamed online at Powerball.com.
