Our little girl is finally home: Priyanka Chopra, Nick Jonas share first photo of their daughter

On the special occasion of Mother’s day, Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas shared the first picture with their little daughter on social media.

Bollywood popular actress Priyanka and her singer husband Nick welcomed their little bundle of joy earlier this year and now after 100 days she spent in the NICU (newborn intensive care unit), the couple has finally brought her home on a special day.

Taking to her Instagram account, Priyanka shared a beautiful picture in which she’s holding her little princess in her arms while Jonas, who is sitting next to Priyanka is holding her little arm.

Priyanka wrote: On this Mother’s Day we can’t help but reflect on these last few months and the rollercoaster we’ve been on, which we now know, so many people have also experienced. After 100 plus days in the NICU, our little girl is finally home. Every family’s journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith, and while ours was a challenging few months, what becomes abundantly clear, in retrospect, is how precious and perfect every moment is. We are overjoyed that our little girl is finally home, and just want to thank every doctor, nurse, and a specialist at Rady Children’s La Jolla and Cedar Sinai, Los Angeles, who were there selflessly every step of the way. Our next chapter begins now, and our baby is truly a badass. Let’s get it MM! Mommy and Daddy love you.

“Babe, you inspire me and every way, and you are taking to this new role with such ease and steadiness,” Nick wrote. “I am so grateful to be on this journey with you. You are already an incredible mother. Happy Mother’s Day. I love you.”

The star couple welcomed their first child in January this year via surrogate. “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much,” they wrote in the message back then. As per the reports, she was born on January 22 post 8 PM.

The couple married in December 2018, in Jodhpur’s Umaid Bhawan Palace, India.
