Serbia’s Novak Djokovic has won his 21st Wimbledon tennis grand slam title. Djokovic defeated Nick Kyrgios of Australia 4-6, 6-3, 6-4, 7-6 (7-3) in a thrilling final on Sunday night at the All England Club in London.

This is Djokovic’s seventh Wimbledon title. With this victory, he won the Wimbledon title for the fourth time in a row. With this, his personal Grand Slam title has become number 21.

Djokovic said after the victory: “I’ve lost words for what this tournament and what this trophy means to me. It always has been the most special tournament. It was the one that motivated me to play tennis. Every time this tournament gets more special and meaningful.”

Djokovic is second on the list of players who have won many Grand Slam titles. Spain’s Rafael Nadal tops the list with 22 Grand Slam titles. This time, due to injury, Nadal gave a walkover to Krigos in the semi-final.
