A special Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act court on Wednesday has rejected Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan’s bail plea.

The Court also rejected the bail applications of two of Aryan’s friends Arbaaz Merchant and model Munmun Dhamecha, who were also arrested over alleged consumption of drugs and links with a foreign drug racket.

The special Mumbai court had reserved its order on Aryan Khan’s bail application during the last hearing and had reserved the order for Wednesday, October 20.

Aryan Khan along with 7 others, were arrested by the NCB after a raid on the Cordelia cruise ship.

Shahrukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan has already spent 18 days in jail.

According to PTI, Aryan Khan’s lawyers have now moved the Bombay High Court to seek bail following the rejection of bail plea by a Mumbai court on Wednesday.

His advocates then immediately filed an appeal in the HC, challenging the lower court’s order, PTI reports.

The special NDPS court has postponed some of the bail hearings of the other accused till tomorrow while some other bail pleas like that of the cruise rave party organizers will be heard on Friday, reports Indian media.

Aryan, along with seven others, was arrested by the NCB from the Mumbai International Cruise Terminal on the night of October 2.
