GNB Desk): Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have reportedly broken up their two-year engagement.
In a story Page Six wrote- “Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have broken up, Page Six has exclusively learned”.
Multiple media outlets also reported that they broke up Friday and have gone their separate ways. TMZ also confirmed the news.
The superstars first got together in 2017 and Alex put a ring on it in 2019.
“Unclear what caused the split. We’re working on it. We’re told they broke up Friday”, TMZ wrote.
The stunning split comes after the superstar couple twice postponed their wedding — and after rumors surfaced that the former Yankees third baseman had been playing the field with a young reality star.
The stars, who have been dating for roughly four years, announced their engagement in 2019.
But they then postponed their wedding twice, blaming it on the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We had to cancel the wedding … because of COVID, because of the quarantine,”
Lopez said in December. “And we actually did it twice, which people don’t know.”
The 51-year-old entertainer and 45-year-old baseball great became engaged in the Bahamas in March 2019 after dating for two years.
A source close to Rodriguez told Page Six that he’s in Miami getting ready for baseball season, while Lopez is filming a movie in the Dominican Republic.
It’s unclear when the trouble in paradise for the engaged couple began, but the split comes on the heels of rumors that Rodriguez had been FaceTiming with “Southern Charm” star Madison LeCroy, page six wrote.
Neither Lopez nor Rodriguez have publicly commented on the breakup, but Rodriguez posted a photo Friday on Instagram asking his followers their weekend plans.
