Washington D.C. (GNB): Trump has only 13 days left in the White House, but some GOP lawmakers want his presidency over sooner. They are demanding his impeachment due to deadly violence on Capitol Hill yesterday.

Impeach Trump is Trending in Social Media since yesterday.

Senator Chuck Schumer calls for Trump to be removed from the office immediately via 25th Amendment.

Chuck Schumer, New York’s Senator and the Senate Democratic Leader has demanded to impeach President Trump. He said, “What happened at the U.S. Capitol yesterday was an insurrection against the United States, incited by President Trump. This president must not hold office one day longer.”

Senator Schumer twitted – “The quickest and most effective way—it can be done today—to remove this president from office would be for the Vice President to immediately invoke the 25th amendment. If the Vice President and the Cabinet refuse to stand up, Congress must reconvene to impeach President Trump”.

U.S. Senator, Massachusetts Elizabeth Warren has endorsed Senator Schumer’s demand on Amendment 25.

Meanwhile, Congressman Tim Ryan said- “Insecure people in positions of power can do a lot of damage, and that’s exactly what we’re seeing from this president. The Cabinet should invoke the 25th Amendment immediately”.

Rep Ryan twitted– ” It is too dangerous to have him as president over the next two weeks before the inauguration. He cannot be trusted with the sacred honor the American People gave him. I hope the 25th Amendment is put into action or an immediate bipartisan impeachment”.
