Later on Thursday evening, former President dropped a bombshell announcement , revealing that he has been informed about a second indictment against him.
The revelation came through a three-part post shared on his Truth Social page. According to Trump, his legal team has been notified of the indictment and he has been summoned to appear at the Federal Courthouse in Miami next Tuesday at 3:00 p.m.
Expressing disbelief, Trump wrote, “I never thought it possible that such a thing could happen to a former president of the United States who received far more votes than any sitting president in the history of our country and is currently leading by far all candidates both Democrat and Republican in polls of the 2024 presidential election.”
The former president concluded his series of posts by vehemently proclaiming his innocence and lamenting this development as a “dark day” for the nation.
It remains to be seen how this second indictment will unfold and what impact it will have on Trump’s political future.
