Today Finland is named the top happiest country in the world for the sixth year in a row, beating out other countries like Denmark, Iceland and Israel to take first place in the annual World Happiness Report since 2018.
Other Top 10 countries include the Netherlands, Switzerland, Luxembourg and New Zealand.
Lithuania is the only new country to make the top 20, up more than 30 spots since 2017.
War-ravaged Afghanistan and Lebanon are two of the least fortunate countries, with below-average life chances.
