Elon Musk said on Tuesday that he would reverse Twitter’s ban on former US President Donald Trump if his deal to buy the social network goes through.
Banning Trump “was a morally bad decision, to be clear, and foolish in the extreme,” Musk said at a Financial Times conference on Tuesday.
Trump was banned from Twitter after the January 6 Capitol riots last year as Twitter declared it was banning the former president as he presented “risk of further incitement of violence”.
