    In a highly anticipated event, Elon Musk, renowned entrepreneur and CEO of Tesla and SpaceX, hosted a Twitter Space session Friday to discuss xAI (eXploratory Artificial Intelligence) and shed light on its potential impact.     Musk expressed that the primary objective of xAI is to develop a robust AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) with a profound understanding of the universe. He emphasized the importance of creating an AGI that is “maximum curious” and “truth curious,” striving to minimize the gap between perceived truth and actual truth.

    The entrepreneur argued that humanity, with all its intricacies, is far more intriguing to a truth-seeking superintelligence than anything else, including space exploration and colonization. Musk highlighted the multitude of unresolved questions, such as the nature of gravity and the lack of concrete evidence of extraterrestrial life. He mentioned the Fermi Paradox and raised the possibility that consciousness may not exist elsewhere in our galaxy, given the absence of evidence thus far.

    Musk acknowledged the limitations of current advanced AIs when it comes to answering technical questions, describing the existing state of AI as falling significantly short of expectations. However, he expressed confidence that xAI would gradually bridge this gap, relying on heavy computing power initially but progressively reducing the need for brute-force approaches as the team gains deeper insights into the problem.

    Musk issued a warning about potential shortages, forecasting a shortage of voltage transformers within a year and an electricity shortage within two years.
