    Manchester United and Cristiano Ronaldo have agreed on a  deal to return to the club from Juventus.

    Manchester United said it confirms that the club has reached an agreement with Juventus for the transfer of Cristiano Ronaldo, subject to agreement of personal terms, visa, and medical.

    Cristiano Ronaldo, the 36-year-old soccer superstar is now set to return to his Old Trafford 12 years after leaving for Real Madrid.

    United said the deal was subject to the agreement of personal terms, visa, and medical.

    A United statement said: “Everyone at the club looks forward to welcoming Cristiano back to Manchester.”

    Earlier, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, United manager and Ronaldo’s former team-mate had suggested the Untied was interested in re-signing Ronaldo.

    Cristiano, a five-time Ballon d’Or winner, has so far won over 30 major trophies during his career, including five UEFA Champions League titles, four FIFA Club World Cups, seven league titles in England, Spain, and Italy, and the European Championship for his native Portugal.

    In his first spell for Manchester United, he scored 118 goals in 292 games.
