Pentagon has confirmed an explosion outside Kabul airport, where huge crowds of desperate people continued to gather at Kabul airport on Thursday, despite Western governments raising increasing fears about the risk of terrorist attacks.
“We can confirm an explosion outside Kabul airport. Casualties are unclear at this time. We will provide additional details when we can,” said John Kirby, Assistant to the Secretary of Defense.
