India’s popular actor ‘Big B’ i.e. Amitabh Bachchan has been infected with the Coronavirus. Bachchan himself informed about this through Twitter. In addition, he has asked people close to him to get tested.
79-year-old Bachchan has been infected for the second time.
Amitabh Bachchan tweeted late at night and wrote, ‘I have just tested CoViD + positive .. all those that have been in my vicinity and around me, please get yourself checked and tested also ..”. As soon as Big B’s tweet came out, fans are commenting wishing him a speedy recovery.
In July 2020, he was tested positive for the first time
Even before this, Amitabh Bachchan has come under the grip of COVID in July 2020. When his health deteriorated, he had to stay in Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai for about two weeks. At that time his son Abhishek Bachchan was also COVID positive along with Amitabh. However, there is currently no information about other members of Amitabh’s family being positive.

He was infected from COVID-19 both times while shooting for Kain Banega Corodpati (KBC).
Amitabh Bachchan was shooting for KBC 13 when he got COVID last time. He had to take a break from shooting for several days due to being Covid positive. Due to the Corona period, the shooting was done in 2021 following the COVID protocol, despite this, the actor tested positive. This time also the actor got infected while shooting for KBC 14. After the COVID infections slowed down, shooting is now being done without following the COVID protocol.
Amitabh Bachchan is currently seen hosting Sony TV’s reality show KBC 14. Apart from this, the actor will be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s film Brahmastra.
