(GNB Desk): Beyoncé won Best R&B Performance for “BLACK PARADE” at the 63rd GRAMMY Awards tonight (March 14). It is her fourth GRAMMY win of the evening, and a historic one, as she became the performing artist with the most career GRAMMY wins ever, totaling 28. Her iconic daughter Blue Ivy also won as a collaborator.
By winning for best R&B performance for “”BLACK PARADE”,” Beyoncé achieved her 28th Grammy Award, surpassing Alison Krauss who’d previously held the record with 27 Grammys.
Queen Bey is now the most-winning female artist, and the most winning singer (male or female), in the 63-year history of the Grammy Awards. She’s earned 28 trophies including Sunday’s wins for best music video for “Brown Skin Girl” and best rap performance for her”Savage” collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion.
JAY-Z is also awarded for Best R&B Performance for his role as a co-writer on “BLACK PARADE.” Earlier in the night, Beyoncé won Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song for “Savage,” along with Best Music Video for “BROWN SKIN GIRL.”
