Baltimore Police Department on Twitter confirmed that there are multiple victims in a shooting near Pennsylvania Avenue and Laurens Street, Saturday evening.

Officers were called just before 6:40 p.m. for a report of shots fired. Baltimore Police Commissioner Harrison said once officers arrived, it was learned the five victims were injured,

In a news conference Saturday evening, Harrison said five people were injured in the shooting and four of those people had gunshot wounds. Those injured include three adults and two children.

One man was reportedly shot in the arm and is in stable condition. Harrison said another man was shot while standing outside. He was taken to the hospital where he has since died from his injuries.

Harrison said that a woman was driving with two children in the car when she and one child were shot and the car crashed. It’s unclear if they were the intended victims. Commissioner is urging anyone with information to come forward.
