Forget that I’m a mayor; please provide us with the basis to live as proud Nepalese.” He appealed to the Prime Minister to look beyond his mayoral position and focus on creating an environment where Nepalese citizens can live with pride and dignity.

Balen further asserted that while Americans might be perceived as lazy, Nepalese people are hardworking and have even extended help to others.
