Kabul, August 25, 2023 — The Afghan police have carried out successful operations leading to the seizure of a substantial quantity of illicit drugs, further bolstering the ongoing efforts to combat drug-related activities in the country. The operations were conducted in the eastern Nangarhar and northern Balkh provinces, specifically targeting the border towns of Torkham and Hairatan.
