A police report has been filed against Gauri Khan, wife of Bollywood superstar Shah Rush Khan. Gauri is a filmmaker and a famous designer.
A person has filed an FIR against three people including Gauri in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh, according to Indian media.
Gauri was charged with fraud under Section 409 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Jaswant Shah, a Mumbai resident, took Rs 86 lakhs on condition of giving an apartment to the company for which Gauri is a brand ambassador. However, according to The Times of India, Shah complained that the apartment was not delivered according to the agreement. The apartment is located in Tulsidas Gold View, Sushant Golf City, Lucknow.
The complaint mentions that he bought the apartment under the influence of advertising from Gauri’s brand ambassador. Gauri is the brand ambassador for Russian Construction and Development Limited, a home builder.
Shah has also filed a complaint against the construction company. In the complaint, Shah also accused Gauri of embezzlement. According to The Times of India, Shah claimed in the complaint that the apartment was given to someone else, even though the company took his money. In addition to Gauri and the company, Shah also filed a complaint against Russian Construction and Development Limited managing director Anil Kumar Tulsiani and director Mahesh Tulsiani.
Gauri, the owner of Gauri Khan Designs, is an accomplished interior designer. She has designed the interiors of the homes of several famous Bollywood actors. She has not responded to the latest complaint, according to Indian media.
Gauri is also a fashion designer and film producer. Gauri is the producer of such famous films as Me Hu Na, Om Shanty Om, and Chennai Express.
