(Ahmedabad, India- GNB): A stunning knock from Rishabh Pant, who scored 101 runs off just 118 balls, put India in the driving seat at the close of play on Day 2 of the final Test in Ahmedabad.
The hosts India ended on 294-7, 89 runs ahead of England who secured a first innings total of 205.
In an innings that turned the game on its head, Pant smacked 13 fours and two sixes to take India to a dominant position at the end of day two.
One of the highlights of his innings was the shot against Anderson, where he premeditated a reverse shot over the slip cordon.
Pant was batting on 89 at that point and Anderson, the seam bowler with more Test wickets than any other, was racing in with the new ball. However, without a care in the world, the left-hander played this audacious stroke, as if to make a statement.
