Tysons, VA – Three New Yorkers are behind bars after a quick arrest by the Fairfax County Police Department’s Tysons Urban Team (TUT) in a fraud investigation.

According to a police statement, TUT detectives were alerted by the Louis Vuitton store in Tysons Corner Center on Thursday afternoon, when two men tried to buy $21,000 worth of merchandise with a stolen credit card. The men, identified as Jamine Decambra, 28, of Brooklyn, and Darnel Davis, 33, of Astoria, left the store and got into a rental car with a third person, Marcia Lewis, 37, of Jamaica.

The detectives followed the suspects and stopped their car. They found 36 fake driver’s licenses, 32 stolen credit cards, a USPS mail carrier uniform, a USPS arrow key, stolen mail, and other evidence of theft and fraud in the vehicle. They also seized about $15,000 worth of items that were purchased fraudulently.

The three suspects were taken to the Adult Detention Center and held without bond. They face multiple charges of credit card theft, credit card fraud, identity theft, resisting arrest, and possession of fictitious driver’s licenses.

The police statement also encouraged residents to join the Neighbors by Ring app, a platform where they can connect with their neighbors, share surveillance footage, and report any suspicious activity to the police.
