At least one person was killed when a gunman opened fire in a waiting room on the 11th floor of a medical center in Atlanta. Similarly, four other people were injured in that incident.
Giving details of the incident, Atlanta Police Department Chief Darin Sierbaum said that the shooter shot five people and one of them died on the spot. It is said that all the five people who were shot were women.
It is understood that the gunman opened fire near an Atlanta dispensary. CNN also mentioned that they are currently being treated at Memorial Hospital.
A gunman has been caught after a manhunt that lasted several hours, the authorities said. It is understood that the person involved in the incident is a former Coast Guardsman.
