Surveillance video footage has been released showing the suspect in a mass shooting at a Christian elementary school in Nashville, Tennessee that killed six people, including three children.

Footage shared on Twitter by the Metro Nashville Police Department shows the suspected shooter, 28-year-old Audrey Elizabeth Hale, arriving in a Honda Fit, parking it, and then driving toward the school.

Hale appears to have shot through the school’s double-sided glass doors. He then appears to have entered through a broken glass door.

The video shows Hale walking around the school. It is seen that he took a rifle in different hallways of the school and went in and out of different rooms of the school.

In the video, Hale is seen wearing fighter trousers, a vest and a red baseball cap.

“The shooter, Audrey Elizabeth Hale, 28, who attended the school years ago, arrived on campus in her Honda Fit, ” the police said.

” She was heavily armed with three guns, two of them assault-type weapons, and, as seen in surveillance video, shot her way into the church/school through doors on the side of the building, it added.

“Hale fired a number of rounds inside the Covenant Church/School building. She was armed with these 3 guns and significant ammunition” the police said.

“Hale entered the Covenant building after shooting out the glass of these  doors, ” the police said sharing the images.

“Writings recovered from Hale revealed that her attack was calculated and planned, ” the Police said.

According to the police, a search warrant executed at Hale’s Brightwood Avenue home resulted in the seizure of a sawed-off shotgun, a second shotgun, and other evidence.

Six people were killed when a 28-year-old fired several rounds inside the school building.

Authorities later identified the three schoolchildren and three adults killed at the private Christian elementary school as Evelyn Dieckhaus, William Kinney, and Hallie Scruggs, all age nine, Mike Hill, age 61, Cynthia Peak, age 61, and Katherine Koonce, ago 60.

Hale, believed to be a former student at Covenant Presbyterian Church School, was shot and killed by police officers upstairs at the school.

Police have identified the suspected shooter by his birth name; Hale was reportedly a transgender man who used the pronouns ‘he/she’, although authorities initially described the suspect as a woman after the shooting.

Police have not released another name, but the suspect has referred to himself as Aiden on social media.
