The case of the poisoning of girls in Iran remains a topic of discussion all over the world. Girls studying in schools, colleges, and universities were attacked with poisonous gas and chemicals, after which many were admitted to hospitals. Meanwhile, the Iranian government has assured strict punishment to the culprits.

In Iran, the Interior Ministry has announced that more than 100 people have been arrested in connection with the poisoning of female students across the country. They have been accused of poisoning about five thousand girl students in about 230 schools.

The purpose of breaking the morale of girl students

More than 100 people were killed in Tehran, Qom, Lankan, Hamadan, Far’s, Milan, West Azerbaijan, East Azerbaijan, Kurdistan, and Khoisan Ravi provinces, the ministry said in its fourth statement issued on Saturday about recent incidents in schools.

“They were identified, arrested, and investigated,” the ministry said. “Preliminary inquiries reveal that many of these people have carried out such incidents out of mischief or audacity and with the aim of disrupting classes,” the statement said.

Those arrested include individuals who have had “hostile motives, tried to create fear and horror among people and students, shut down schools, and create pessimism towards” the Islamic establishment, the statement by the Interior Ministry further said.

Most of the accused government employees

According to the statement, most of the accused in this incident are government employees. They intentionally mixed slow poison in the water of the girl students. The poison attack on the girls is believed to be the reason for the protests that started in Iran after the death of Marisa Mini last year.

On September 16 last year, anti-hijab protests began in several cities of Iran. Then many women demanded their rights, which angered the Islamic fundamentalists. Since then, there has been a spurt in criminal incidents against girls and women.

The government of Iran is being insulted

After poisoning the girls in the world, the government of Iran is being insulted a lot. The administration swung into action following the tough stance of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Khamenei had earlier said that whoever is guilty should be hanged. After this, the pressure on the government of Ibrahim raises increased.

According to the official news agency ‘IRAN‘ – the Home Ministry has made it clear that the investigation of this matter will go on for a long time. Evidence will be collected after questioning the arrested people. It is quite possible that some more people may be arrested. The statement also said the number of poisoning incidents has been decreasing over the past several days.
