If you keep abreast of the Internet world, then you must have heard about ChatGPT by now. It is said that this will eliminate the need of Google in the near future.

Let us tell you that ChatGPT is an artificial intelligence-powered chatbot that answers any of your questions in seconds. Chat GPT is currently the topic of discussion due to its unique capabilities. Meanwhile, it has successfully passed an American law school exam.

ChatGPT, which can write long-form essays on any issue around the world has passed an American law school exam. According to a report, a special exam was held at the University of Minnesota Law School in which ChatGPT had to solve the same questions that other students were allowed to solve.

Jonathan Choi, a professor at the same school, said that the exam consisted of 95 multiple-choice questions and 12 essay questions. On Monday, he said that the bot achieved an overall score of C+, which is considered a below-average score, but passed grade in all four courses.

Overall, ChatGPT passed all four classes based on its final exam, averaging a C+ across all exams, an outcome which would earn credit toward the JD but place the student on academic probation. Notably, if such performance were consistent throughout law school, the grades earned by ChatGPT would be sufficient for a student to graduate, the University said in a statement.

Despite performing sufficiently well to theoretically earn a JD degree, ChatGPT generally scored at or near the bottom of each class. ChatGPT received a B in Constitutional Law (36th out of 40 students), a B- in Employee Benefits (18th out of 19 students), a C- in Taxation (66th out of 67 students), and a C- in Torts (75th out of 75 students), according to the paper.
