The war between Russia and Ukraine, which started on February 24, has been going on for 5 months, but it does not seem to be ending or any solution on it. Meanwhile, Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky has fired the head of the intelligence and security agency and the prosecutor general.

“In particular, more than 60 employees of the prosecutor’s office and the SBU (state security service) have remained in the occupied territory and work against our state,” Zelenskyy said.

“Such an array of crimes against the foundations of the state’s national security, and the links recorded between Ukrainian security forces and Russian special services raise very serious questions about their respective leaders,’’ he said in his nightly video address to the nation.

Zelensky said in his nightly video address to the nation on Sunday– Security Chief Ivan Bakanov and Prosecutor General Irina Venediktova have been fired. According to reports, there were cases of both the officials supporting Russia. Zelensky said 651 criminal cases have been registered so far in connection with the treason and support of Russia by employees of the Prosecutor’s Office and other law enforcement agencies.
