    Chris Wallace exits Fox News Channel, joining CNN’s upcoming streaming service

    Fox News anchor Chris Wallace announced Sunday that he is departing the Fox News immediately and joining CNN.

    Wallace made a surprising announcement of his departure at the end of “Fox News Sunday that he has moderated since 2003.

    “After 18 years, I have decided to leave Fox. I want to try something new, to go beyond politics, to all of the things I’m interested in,“ Wallace said.

    Chris Wallace is considered as one of the few high-profile news personalities.

    Wallace will host a weekday show that will take place at CNN, where Wallace will become an anchor for CNN+, a streaming service launching in early 2022, the network said.

    According to CNN’s press release, Wallace will host a weekday show featuring interviews with newsmakers “across politics, business, sports and culture.”
