    Mumbai Drug Case: Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan remains in judicial custody till October 20

    Aryan Khan, son of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, was arrested by Narcotics Control Bureau officials in a drug-related case on October 3. His hearing was today wherein the court reserved its order till a later date stating that Aryan Khan will have to stay in jail till October 20.

    The special NDPS court on Thursday reserved its order on Aryan and other co-accused’s bail applications till October 20.

    The court said it is busy with other matters but is keeping all three applications for orders on the 20rh. “I will try”, Livelaw reported Special Judge saying.

    As a result, Aryan Khan – the son of Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan – and other co-accused Arbaaz Merchant and Munmun Dhamecha will remain in judicial custody at the Arthur Road Central Jail and the Byculla Women’s Jail for the next five days on account of public holidays over the next few days.

    According to the Times of India, after heading Aryan Khan’s bail plea NCB alleged that material gathered during the investigation revealed he had a role in “illicit procurement and distribution of contraband”. NCB also claimed that Aryan Khan was in touch with people who appear to be a part of an International Drug Network. NCB further stated that Aryan Khan is an influential person and that he may tamper with evidence and influence other witnesses or even flee justice. The court reserved its order about granting him bail wherein the star kid will remain in judicial custody till October 20 when the next hearing is scheduled.

    Aryan Khan, 23-Year-Old, was arrested along with Merchant, Dhamecha, and others after the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) raid on a cruise ship on October 2 from where the agency recovered drugs. They were detained after the raid last Saturday and then arrested the next day.
