    CDC adds 7 destinations to ‘Level 4: Very High’ COVID-19 travel risk

    The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) added 7 destinations to Monday’s “very high” COVID-19 risk level.

    Level 4: COVID-19 Very High” means that people should avoid traveling to these places. Those who have to travel must first be fully vaccinated, the agency advises.

    According to CDC, the seven destinations added to the Level 4 list on August 9 are:

    1. Aruba
    2. Eswatini (formerly Swaziland)
    3. France
    4. French Polynesia
    5. Iceland
    6. Israel
    7. Thailand

    On August 2, CDC added 16 destinations to its “Level 4: Covid-19 Very High” risk category, including Greece, Ireland, and the US Virgin Islands.

    List of destinations under CDC’s Level 4: COVID-19 Very High Category:

    The agency advises avoiding travel to these destinations. If you must travel to these destinations, make sure you are fully vaccinated before travel.
