    6 people shot dead in Tate County, Mississippi, suspect in custody – police

    Six people were killed in a shooting at a store in Tate County, Mississippi, authorities said Friday.

    According to Tate County Sheriff Brad Lance, there were six victims of the shooting at the scene. Officials have confirmed that a suspect is in custody in the incident.

    The incident took place at the Express Mart on Arcabutla Dam Road in Coldwater, Mississippi.

    According to Sheriff Brad Lance, the gunman went into the store and shot a person with a gun. The gunman then went to a home near Bend Road and shot a woman.

    According to Lance, the gunmen also went to a house on Arkabutla Dam Road and shot dead two people there.

    When the police saw a car matching the description of the suspect’s car and attempted to stop him, the gunmen fled without stopping and gave chase.

    Police stopped the car in the driveway of the home and arrested the shooter. Police say they found one person dead in a car and another in the street.
